Stefan Hussong is Europe's foremost accordionist. He has concertized
throughout Europe and Asia and in the United States, earning praise such
as, "a once-in-a-lifetime experience" (Keyboard) and, "a Stefan Hussong
evening -- a highlight of Salzburg's summer music life" (Salzburger
Nachrichten). As a soloist, he has played with orchestras such as Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Toyko Chamber Symphony, the Toyko
Harmonia Chamber Orchestra, Klangforum Wien, and Ensemble Modern. He
appears often with violinist Irvine Arditti, cellists Julius Berger and
Miklos Perenyi. With a repertoire that ranges from the Baroque to the
contemporary, Mr. Hussong collaborates with composers such as S.
Gubaidulina, T. Hosokawa, A. Hölszky and K. Huber. He has made numerous
prize-winning CD recordings, including critically acclaimed recordings of
